Tongariro Alpine crossing - New-Zealand
I was recently on vacation in this very beautiful country. I had the possibility to participate at one of the most beautiful and spectaculair day hikings at the northern island.
We walked in a landscape of 2 volcano's in Tongariro N.P.
The length of the track is 19,4km. You start at an altitude of 1120m and you have to climb to an altitude of 1865m and then going downhil until 760m altitude.
We had lucky with the weather conditions and that helps a lot for a clear view at the landscape's.
